Ashhurst --> Danniverk --> Pongaroa --> Eketahuna --> Palmy Planned ride
Not a bad way to kill 4 hours. A lot of beautiful scenery and old townships.
Kellyville to Bathurst then Penrith Return
Byford via Nettleton to Jarrahdale onto Kingsbury. SW highway to Nth Dandalup.Del Park Rd to Nanga.
A very nice rural road with some nice corners and scenery. Be wary of the locals that use it, they know the road and happily tear along at the posted speed limit of 100kmph. I reckon the road should have been designated 80, but this stretch avoided that, 100 is quite quick along this road.
Be wary of school pickup through Bunninong. There are hundreds of distracted mothers picking up kids, hundreds of aggravated tradies trying to get ahead of everyone, and buses everywhere. Once into Buninong the traffic is light.
Be wary of random gravel patches after the midway turnoff to the gorge.

Good open twisty road on Pomona kin kin just off tin can bay rd
Rural roads tight twisty roads around kin kin and cedar pocket. Mary valley rd very open
All tar run, not spectacular ridding, but a nice day out. Plenty of spots in Western Creek for breaky and fuel up. Gunnings has a few options for lunch and fuel. Gundaroo is also good with the Cafe doing Pizza, Store doing a wide variety of normal store burgers, fish etc. And of course the pub does some really nice food. If you want a longer more adventurous ride from Gunning head out to Tarago and back via Bungendore. Fuel and pub in Tarago :-)
Light twists and smooth surfaces. Quick run for a Sunday.
Loop out from Abbotsford to St Andrews and a different way back home.
Diamond Creek Tin Shed Cafe - Kinglake - Yarra Glen Lunch - Home
Leaving canberra just before lunch and first stop is Cooma for a quick bite. On the bike to Cann River ( be careful on the road as soon as you get into Victoria as the road condition changes dramatically and gets very bumpy and makes cornering dangerous at high speed ). A pie/coffee stop and then on the bike to stay at Eden overnight. On the bike before 9am going north on princess hwy before cutting back in land through some fantastic country road riding. Then onto the highway again through Bemboka, Cooma and then home. The into this g to watch for is a strong police presence on the main highways and the 50k stretch going into Cann River from the Victorian boarder. Other than that it's an exceptional run.
