Gastonia to Spencer Mtn to NC 181 to Blue Ridge Pkwy to 226a to NC 80 to Marion.
Short, but an insane silly road that has you feeling you're going to drive off of the road. Serious gradients here, folks.
For such a short ride it packs a bit of a punch. Even with the 25/35 speed limit you can't go much faster because the damned turns are so hard. Twisties, off camber twisties, steep up/downhill twisties, steep up/downhill off camber twisties and some sweepers thrown in for the cherry on top. I liked it quite a lot for such a shorty, and it sets you up great for 209 North, which I recommend doing, for 'The Rattler.' Face it, assuming you're coming in from 40 (West or East) what would you rather do? Slab it to 209 North, which looks like a very boring part, or take this little monster?
BEWARE: Not a ride for beginners! Rest stop staring location in Marion, NC. Ride 226 to 226a around Little Switzerland and then up 226 to Spruce Pine. Take a curve break on Hwy 19 to Double Island Rd. Ride north on until you can't on this road and double back south to NC80. Ride NC80 back to the starting rest stop.
Davidson to Troutman. Stop by Lake Norman State Park if you want for a little.
A nice little route to a fun road from near Downtown Suffolk
From afton to Meadows of Dan campground
BRP from Asheville to Cherokee, Tail of the Dragon, to Tellico
Blue Ridge Parkway
23 to back of dragon to
first part of the route is alot of big sweeping smooth corners. last half has places to stop for food and some good scenery as you come back over the bridge
the route has some decent corners. its the most direct non straight road routes to old Maple Hill road. arguably one of the best roads in the area which isn't saying much because the area is very flat and bland. Be careful during and after heavy rain storms, old Maple tends to flood.
spring grove to woolwine. twisties and nice roads.
Road it a couple times nice corners not to many of them. Not the best roads the whole way. I love riding this route it's beautiful quiet and I have yet to see any cops out there.
Simple'around the block' ride, start anywhere along the route.
Tons of twisties, elevation change and views.
Day ride
Back roads to BRP Arron Sylvia

A long a scenic ride through long winding country backroads. Lots of high visibility passing zones 'hint hint' no police presence... 'HINT HINT'
Great Curves and Stunning Nature along one of America's best motorcycling roads Approximately 500 miles of some of the best and most scenic twisting tarmac in North America. Enjoying the beautiful nature and the stunning curves all the way from Asheville, North Carolina into Roanoke, Virginia. This is very nicely maintained road with lots of grip but there can also be wildlife (deers, bears, etc) so be on the lookout for those! Highest section between Soco Gap and Wagon Road Gap a particular highlight Note: Some sections of this road are closed in winter.
Just a fun run into SC.
Nice ride through the country. Lots of open roads. Few places to stop though, so fuel up first. Lots of road construction on 601.
