We went from Sale to Bairnsdale via Bengworden Road then up to Omeo. The ride from Bairnsdale to Omeo is always a great ride. Refueled at Omeo before heading across to Mount Hotham. Roads open up on the way to Hotham and the temperature drops. Great run down hill to Harrietville where the brakes and fear levels are well tested. Onwards to Bright for lunch. What a beautiful town. The the fun goes up a notch as we head for Falls Creek. A great ride. A quick break and onwards we go across the plains where we saw a large stallion horse next to the road. What a sight to behold. Onwards to the Blue Duck Inn (motorcycle mecca). 411 kms for day one and time for a beer. In the morning back to Omeo for breakfast and onwards back to Sale. If anyone can come up with a better ride please let me know. This one is priceless.
