The ride from I-90 down Hwy 97 and 3 and over to Plummer on Hwy 5 is a lot of fun! Nice twists and good surfaces. From Plummer up to Coeur d´Alene it´s pretty straight and in July very hot! Another way we will try in the future is to head from I-90 down Hwy 3 and back up the east shore via Hwy 97. Harrison is a good place to stop for a stretch and bite to eat. Lots of mining history there as well.
