Circular Sunday rude, via JackHills biker friendly cafe
General tour around the Peaks
various changes in road types a good afternoon evening run
various road types from twisty to fast sweeping. loads of elevation changes and all on good road surface.
Excellent mix of fast and curves, more emphasis on the curves. Spectacular view between two mountains for part, nice views along lough shore for others
Nice Cirencester to Bourton-on-the-Water ride from Bike magazine. November 2018
Personal favourite when I cant sleep
I route I use for some advanced training taking in some rural 50s then pushing onto some really nuice rural nationals. Points of interest along the way:
Avebury - Some lovely bends, a nice pub and some big stones. Well worth going through twice.
Hackpen White Horse, Alton Barnes White Horse and the Uffington White Hourse
Wantage - Couple of nice cafes there for a brew
gona try this one tomoz
One road with plenty of good corners
Decent ride but watch for cameras
Mostly hampered by the 50's in Derbyshire. The route wouldn't let me plot what we actually rode - for clarity, we drove from Monyash through Crowdecote (sharp hill bends - 1st gear) to Longnor then hung a left as per the route. Second discrepancy is at Meerbrook, we turned left at the Lazy Trout and followed that section up and over the roaches- at one point it's very steep and gated, but it does bring you back up to the Leek-Buxton road just prior to the Winking Man pub and although it's steep and gated, it's views are awesome.
Stopped at Yonderman cafe on the way out after 90 minutes, Leek for a stroll although Buxton would be a better midway lunch point.
Good little Sunday blast
Great days ride out.
Coffee stops, Headcorn Airport, Dungerness Beach, Spitfire Cafe Hythe, Dover Transport Museum.
Lots of country riding, lots of open roads, something to suit all bikers.
Couple of hours run out. Recommend a quick detour to Hay Tor from Bovey
If you want to learn to corner or scrub in some tyres then this is the route for you! A great little route with some amazing corners that will challenge both beginners and seasoned riders, I do this route in the summer evenings where the roads are very quiet although a police presence is seen on the main roads, This is an amazing route which you will find yourself doing again and again!
Decided on the full East side of Northern Ireland from Larne to County Down at Terrella Beach. Most of the route take is 'B' roads but I had to take a lot of 'A' roads as well. Like everywhere keep to the speed limits and watch out for farm machinery
This is a great route for everyone, and can be started at any point. Some great views of the old industrial days of NI past and present. Some great views of the coastal roads and great scenery along the way. I won't give a step by step account of the route but if you want to see a beautiful country this is one of many routes that you will find. Their are plenty of places to stop for coffee and a bite to eat and I hope you enjoy this route I created for a good day out alone or with friends.
Bit of everything, but depends on traffic
Snake Pass is a road that connects Glossop to Ladybower Reservoir in the hearth of the Peak District, England, UK
great back roads and amazing hairpins.
