Fantastic valley scenary and a wicked selection o switchbacks here, words really cannot do the scenary justice, you simply have to see it for yourself.
Fun ride with straightaways, long curves, mountain twisties, beautiful vistas, and a biker/rider friendly ghost town. This route includes the nearby Tuzigoot National Park. Bring a camera and mount one one your bike. Jerome is a hoot! Check out the Haunted Hamburger Cafe. Prescott is a delightful s...
This is a fun dual sport route which takes you from Florence, AZ east to Superior AZ via the Florence-Kelvin Highway and Rt177. Note that 3/4 of the Florence-Kelvin highway is graded dirt road. Please plan accordingly.
This is a fun run with some great sonoran desert scenery which pas...
Not for road bikes although we did it slowly on rented Harleys. This is a 17 mile road out in the middle of the desert for Adventure bikes. The surface is gravel and washed out in sections. The reason to do it? The scenery is spectacular. All kinds of weird Hoo-doos and rock formations. Great plac...
Fast, sweeping turns. Beautiful Arizona desert scenery. Landscape changes as you drive north and reach higher altitudes. Lots of police on Sunday mornings.
Pinal Pioneer Hwy AZ - Navajo/Apache , United States April 27, 2014 - 4.0
This long, straight stretch is a really nice two-lane hwy that is easily the most beautiful way to get to Tucson from the Phoenix area. Lots of beautiful cactus, desert vegetation, and Mt Lemmon looming in the distance. There is something very therapeutic about this stretch.
Indian Rd. 15 AZ - Navajo/Apache , United States April 27, 2014 - 5.0
Empty two-lane hwy with spectacular views of undeveloped Arizona Desert. Wild horses, wild donkeys, mesas and overlooks. Gas up in Casa Grande - there is nothing til you get to SR 96 towards Ajo.
Moab to Monticello AZ - Navajo/Apache , United States November 29, 2014 - 4.0
heading southbound from Moab to, say, Monument Valley?
Take this little detour -- you won't be sorry.
It's not long in terms of total miles or time but it's b-u-ti-full.
And it's doubly so in the early October when the Aspens are turning.
At one point you're treated to an amazing pa...
This is a fun loop from Laughlin go up 163 and take a left on 95. This section has a little police/highway patrol presence and some high speed sweepers. Take 95 to I40 and go east. In this section you can open it up and I have never seen a cop on this road. I40 always has CHP near Needles. Take...
Started off in warm October weather that got cooler the closer you come to Superior. Lots of nice curves between Superior and Globe. Add Layers when you stop in Globe for fuel. From Globe to Show Low there are a couple of nice straight-a-ways through the forest and a few nice curves. Watch out for p...
This is a good way to get into or out of Phx heading to/from I-40. It's a pretty straight shot but with sections of nice sweepers traversing several small canyons and a couple of cool new bridges. The attraction here is the scenery. Along the route you'll encounter nice vistas of mesas and a se...
Frenzied curves on the Devil's Highway followed by a more relaxed ride through the Gila Forest.
This 200 mile loop starts at Three Way, Arizona and immediately heads north and takes in a section of US191 named the Coronada Trail, also known as the Devil’s highway. This is a long stretch that cons...

Mt Graham AZ366 AZ - Graham/Greenlee/Coch..., United States December 25, 2017 - 5.0
AZ 366 Is a hidden gem south of the grand 191 (Devil's Highway).
It's spectacularly beautiful and takes you to a high elevation. Corners are often tight and there are several sets of switchbacks one needs to be ready for.
Beyond the end point the road becomes unpaved. During good wea...
